Interested in joining CAM Leadership?

We think it is essential to have a strong team of students and adults working together behind the scenes of College-Age Ministry. We are always looking for people to help with the ins and outs of the ministry--from designing posters to planning service trips. We know that each person has a unique set of abilities and gifts to bring to the table, and we would love to have your help! Our Teams (Alphabetical)

Advertising Team
Our goal is to get the word out about CAM and CAM events! How You Can Help: Designing flyers, making videos, sending emails, contacting other ministries to help with advertising, and thinking up new ways to advertise to college-age people. Adult Coach: Matt W.; Student Leader: Kat H.

Classes Team
What We Do: Plan and excute classes for CAM. How You Can Help: Brainstorming and planning classes, running the sound system, and more. Adult Coach: Brian W.; Student Leaders: Matt S. and Rob L.

Connections Team
We want to make college-age individuals who are new to the group move feel like an insider! Our goal is to create a system in order to connect people new to CAM to students who are already in CAM. The short-term goal is to help a new student feel welcomed into CAM without having to commit to a team. The overall goal is to get more students on our teams! This opportunity is open to everyone! In order to make this team happen, it will take everyone's participation. Most importantly, we need students who will be willing to contact new students. However, everyone can be involved in actively seeking to collect new students' contact info and passing it along to Kate. Adult Coach: Kate M.; Student Leader: Sarah W.

Events Team
We need your help planning and excuting events for CAM, including events geared toward college students at Blackhawk and events on campus. How You Can Help: Planning events, setting up and tearing down events, greeting people, and more. Adult Coaches: Matt and Amanda C.; Student Leaders: Abbey S. and Stephanie C.

Life Groups
How You Can Help: Lead a life group for college-aged students and individuals. Application and special training required. Adult Coach: Rachel M.

Global Impact
What We Do: Provide college-age people with regular opportunities to experience being the hands and feet of Christ in a different culture, outside of their local community. How You Can Help: Creatively envisioning, planning and executing various short-term missions opportunities. Exploring ways to help college-age people become more globally-minded. Advocate for CAM Missions within Blackhawk's Global Impact team. Adult Coach: Brooke S.; Student Leaders: Nathan S. and Cindy R.

Local Impact
What We Do: Provides ways for students to respond to the needs of the community through service events and long-term partnerships with local organizations. How You Can Help: The River Food Pantry, The Salvation Army, The Sharing Center, Allied Drive Learning Center, and more... Adult Coaches: Rae G. and Brian B.; Student Leader: Megan K.

Web Team
