Got Plans This Summer?? If not join PLANET KID for a summer of fun!

We encourage our school-year volunteers to take the summer off, so they are ready and refreshed to come back in the fall. That means summer is a great opportunity for you to try out volunteering with kids.

Join us in helping kids learn about and experience the love of Jesus. You could be a part of shaping the hearts of kids and transforming the next generation.

You can acquire references, fulfill volunteer requirements, and build your resume, all while having fun!

PLANET KID aims to ignite your passions, utilize your gifts, and respect your time.

Volunteer Opportunities (Ages Birth-5th Grade):

• Large Group Teacher: Teachers creatively engage kids in a large group Bible lesson. They use dramatic techniques to bring the Bible to life.
• Large Group Worship Leader: Worship leaders are energetic people who lead kids in songs and motions that are interactive and fun.
• Small Group Shepherd: Shepherds spend time building relationships with a small group of kids. They help them apply Bible lessons to their lives using fun games or crafts.
• Shepherd Helper: Shepherd Helpers assist shepherds in various ways during the small group time. This is a good position for people who want a "low key" commitment.
• Shadow: A shadow serves as a one-on-one aide for a child with special needs, so that they can participate in our regular Sunday programming. No experience necessary.
• Welcome Center Attendant: Welcome attendants help guests feel comfortable as they fill out forms and get entered into our system. During the service, they send birthday and welcome postcards to children.
• Welcome Center Guide: Welcome guides walk new families to their child's room, helping them feel comfortable and answering their questions. Guides also help families who are struggling with our computerized check-in system.

Here's the scoop:

JumpIN: A Summer Experience for Kids

July 13-16, 1-5 pm
Family Party July 16, 5-7 pm

We hope you can join us for a summer experience you won't forget. Join the JumpIN team as kids will have a chance to choose two focus areas from the options of art, music, dance, and sports. We have designed this experience to be a fun way for kids to be exposed to the truths of God and the Bible, while learning some other cool skills, too. Come and be our "expert" in one of the four areas or just come to hang out with kids all week long as they learn cool, new skills. Various time commitments are available.
