We're glad you stopped by. CAM is the College-Age Ministry of Blackhawk Church, located in Madison, WI. We are a group of students and college-age people working and living around Madison. The ministry puts on tons of different types of large group events (e.g. Badger Game Day cookouts, movie nights, dances) and classes designed to delve deeper into who Jesus was and his impact on the world today. We also have smaller groups of people who meet weekly, called life groups, to talk about God, life, and simply hang out! In addition, we put on local and global service projects which are a great way to serve those in need and get to know new faces.
We know that you probably have questions about the ministry or are interested in checking it out. We invite you to come to any of our events or whatever else we have going on (see the calendar). We gather every Tuesday Night @ 8 pm in the Regent Apartment basement!
"Series" run 1-3 weeks and consist of quality speakers discussing relevant topics. "I Doubt it" is a night dedicated to discussing commonly shared questions of faith. "My Story" is a night in which one person shares their life story and faith journey. "Make a Difference" is a featured "spotlight" to encourage serving in our world.
Tuesday evenings are intended to provide real community, music and speakers while hanging out and exploring our relationship with God together. Everyone is welcome and we'd love for you to come as often as you're able.
As a community of people seeking to follow Christ, it's important to share fellowship and time together; therefore, CAM hosts a variety of events throughout the year. Activities range from game-day pancake breakfasts to holiday celebrations. These events are also a place to introduce friends to a community of believers in a non-threatening way.
