Join us for a three-week series with John Rosensteel, Brandon Ryan, and Matt Metzger entitled, "More Rotten Tomatoes." On Tuesday, Nov. 3, 10, and 17 at 8pm in the Regent basement, we'll be piggy-backing off of the current series at Blackhawk (Rotten Tomatoes) to look at and wrestle with more of the tough questions within our faith.
In a world of obvious evil and suffering, how can there be a God who is both good and in control? This question strikes at the heart of Christianity and demands a response.
Many people tend to think that being a Christian means following a bunch of rules that make life boring. But would it be surprising find out that following those rules is not a requirement, but merely a response to something much greater?
From time to time, we all have doubts regardless of where we are at on our spiritual journey. Sometimes these doubts can really trip us up. As Christians, we sometimes wonder if it is OK to doubt. So, what do we do when we have doubts? How do we handle them?

Does Jesus have anything to say about the pressing issues of our world today? Was he merely a teacher of spiritual truth, or have centuries of tradition caused us to forget how his mission and message have explosive potential for social and personal transformation? On October 13 and 20, Tim Mackie will be exploring the Jewish background and contemporary significance of Jesus of Nazareth, and how he forces us to rethink God, ourselves, and the needs of our world.Kingdom Come: Rediscovering the Mission and Message of Jesus

Science and Christianity. Are they really as opposed as people make them out to be? Supposedly, one moves towards faith while the other moves towards evidence and proof. But could science and Christianity actually be better friends than we make them out to be? What if they are mutually illuminating, not mutually exclusive? At CAM on Tuesday, October 6th, UW scientists Jeff Hardin and Rick Lindroth will explore and answer questions on how science and faith can co-exist.I Doubt It

Trust me, it will get old quickly!! But, this is the time of the year where people want to get to know each other. People are curious about who is living near them and who is in their classes. What would it be like to be able to ask God some questions about who He is and what He is about? In the Bible, Jesus had a lot to say about himself finishing the phrase, "I am...". Join us for the next 3 weeks as college pastor, Matt Metzger unpacks some of what God wanted us to know about Himself. I AM
How many times in the next 2 weeks will you answer these questions?
